Random Act of Genealogical Kindness is an award winning gold mine of private citizens assisting each other in the search for roots. On their site, you can search by state (i.e. Wisconsin Genealogy) and county.

• Friday Memorial Library at 156 E. 1st Street, New Richmond, WI 54017, 715-243-0431. The Wisconsin Section of the Library holds much information regarding past residents of New Richmond and the surrounding areas.
• Birth records can be found with the St. Croix County Government Center in Hudson. 715-386-4600 is the General Information number.
• The St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society can be reached by calling Darcey Boock at 715-425-9978 or by mail to P.O. Box 396, River Falls, WI 54022.
• The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Area Research Center is located on the U of W campus in the lower level of the Chalmer Davee Memorial Library.
